Bargaining Updates
More than 650 workers represented by UFCW Local 455 have settled a new three year agreement with the Sanderson Farms poultry plant in Hammond, Louisiana. The increased wages and benefits will provide a more secure future for employees and their families. Highlights of the contract include:
--Raises of
$1.05 over the term for production workers
--Improved health and welfare benefits.
--Maintains retirement security benefits.
