Bargaining Updates More than 2700 workers of UFCW Local 2 have ratified a new deal with National Beef in Liberal, Kansas.
The agreement maintains health and welfare benefits, and retirement security benefits. The new agreement will also:
--include for certain employees nine minutes of paid time for donning and doffing.
--include the eight hours paid for holidays in the computation of overtime (except Saturday holidays)
--add a fifth week of vacation for workers who have twenty five years of service.
